Police Brutality: DWI Suspect Slammed in Lockup.
Video shows Fort Worth officer slamming DWI suspect into wall, floor 9:27 AM Tue, Aug 24, 2010 The attorney of a man who sued Fort Worth accusing police of excessive force released a video showing the incident at the downtown police station. In the video, an officer handcuffs Carey Cass Hudson before slamming his face into a wall and then the floor. Other officers stand around watching. Hudson was arrested in June 2008, accused of drunken driving. A DWI charge has since been dismissed, though it’s unclear why. Hudson’s suit was dismissed last week, and the city has offered Hudson $120000 to settle the case. The City Council will consider that offer today, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
